Why I Started Accent Webs
I started a web design business with a simple belief: every Irish business deserves a website that actually works for them, not against them. Too many business owners were getting caught up with expensive agencies that didn’t understand their local market, or settling for cheap templates that looked like everyone else’s.
After 20+ years of working with Galway businesses, I am still glad when a client sees their new website for the first time, and even more glad when they tell me it’s bringing in new customers.

Our 6-D process
Discovery
Discovery through visits to our clients business, meetings with our customer to accurately determine their needs and current situation. We discuss marketing as well as roles and goals. Once we feel comfortable that we completely understand the tasks at hand, we move to define the scope of the project agree deliverables.
Definition
Now we need to establish exactly what it is that you and your company are trying to achieve and what we can do to help. This involves discussing your wants, needs, marketing goals, budget and financial situation. From this we will develop a Scope of Work (SOW) which will detail and outline a solution that will satisfy your wants and needs.
Design
Once the work has been approved, I will initiate the design process. This will focus on the specifications you have provided, the budget you’ve given us, and your business goals.
The result is a design that reflects your business, not a generic template.
Development
Once you have approved the final design, we will begin the development and building process. Remember, you do not always go through these steps at once. Oftentimes, problems and obstacles will be encountered, and we will have to go back and rework things so that everything works out the way you want. It is not uncommon to go through the define, design, develop, and deployment stages many times before the final product is where everyone desires.
Deployment
The website is setup on a server where our client can inspect it and decide what changes are necessary. The website is all but finished at this point. But there are often little things that did not appear in the way our client had imagined. Sometimes they decide that it is better and sometimes they want an adjustment. Now is the time for that.
Delivery
We deliver your website on time and on budget. When the bill is paid in full, all of the logins are sent to the gatekeeper.
There is then an option to have us manage and support the website, keeping it up-to-date and looking good or we can train you or your staff to do the basics.

I do things the right way: no shortcuts, no unnecessary bloat, and no guesswork. I structure sites carefully, from the design and navigation right through to the technical SEO and on-page content, to make sure everything is set up to compete effectively in search results.
Clients come to me when they want something more considered than an off-the-shelf setup. I listen, work efficiently, and don't use jargon where plain language will do. The goal is always a website that does what it is supposed to do, bring in business.
